What is "Health Pay"
By - KuttyKool
I’ve been here since November. I don’t take health benefits...no extra pay...
"Edited" they give you 500.00 spread out throughout the year.
After you’ve worked for Amazon for 90 days, you’ll receive $500 each year — spread over your weekly paychecks — for your health care needs. This money is subject to income tax.
If you were hired after the start of the plan year — April 1 — the $500 will be prorated for the rest of the plan year, which runs through March 31. This money is added to your weekly paychecks.
Do you know if this varies by state? I'm still on my parents insurance but I haven't received any health pay and I've been here 9 months
Correction, the health pay from the part time guide
'500 annually (spread out over the year) to help pay for health care expenses, including coverage purchased through Amazon’s Health Marketplace Tool or otherwise'.
Ok thank you!
Thanks for that explanation... if I can throw another issue at you I just received a card for a dental plan I never requested. Why would that happen?
Dental is free. Look on the app under 'Resources' then 'Amazon Benefits'. Its shows you what you get and when as well as any costs.
From the dental resources section:
Ninety days from your date of hire, you’re automatically enrolled in the Delta Dental Enhanced Plan at no cost to you. You cannot enroll dependents in your dental coverage.
The plan covers cleanings and preventive care at 100%.
